How much is too much?
With our modern processed food replete with additives to lure you into craving ever more, can we really be blamed if we become too heavy?
The Church, even from early days, defined gluttony in terms seeming fanatical: if you eat before meal time, or if you eat just for the pleasure of it, or if the food is too fancy. I think this is an example of the Church adopting Greek philosophy with its disdain for the body.
We should eat healthy food as best we can and we should try to keep our weight under control. For some, that means eating more, not less.
